SONGS FROM HORŇÁCKO MADE BY TOUCHES OF ELECTRONICS

MUSICIAN, COMPOSER AND PRODUCER JIŘÍ HRADIL HAS A MUSICAL DISCUSSION WITH THE FIRST VIOLINIST PETR MIČKA, MEMBERS OF HIS BAND HORŇÁCKÁ MUZIKA AND SINGERS OF HORŇÁCKO REGION, MAINLY WITH MARTIN HRBÁČ.

Musician, composer and producer Jiří Hradil has a musical discussion with the first violinist Petr Mička, members of his band Horňácká muzika and singers of Horňácko region. This brings electronics to the traditional music of the region.
Electro trad-modern, this is how the style is sometimes called, is one of the ways of bringing past to future and traditions. The form of traditional music is not a rule, it changes and develops with time through the centuries, but it should be always treated and performed with respect.
Mixing authentic traditions with electronics is common all around the world, but in our country not many performers were brave to try it. Hrubá Hudba takes traditional pieces of the region Horňácko, gives them modern feelings and compositions. This creates music, which is traditional but gently supported with the touch of electronics.
