MARTINA TRCHOVÁ & BAND
SONGS PAINTED WITH AN ELECTRIC GUITAR
A UNIQUE SINGER-SONGWRITER, USUALLY PERFORMING SOLO, WILL BE ACCOMPAINED BY A FULL BAND-JUST LIKE ON HER NEW ALBUM 90% OF HAPPINESS
It’s worth remembering from time to time that we simply can’t do without singer-songwriters who, with charming poetic playfulness, notice even the tiniest details of everyday life. Martina Trchová is one such artist, and we should know that, for her, the best season is the one that behaves itself.
“We’d love to bring 90% of Happiness to the Folk Holidays,” wrote Martina Trchová—and she quickly followed up with a symbolic offer to deliver the remaining ten percent too: the full band that recorded the album, which was nominated for the Anděl Award last year. And since something so rare can’t be turned down, the singer-songwriter—at the peak of her powers—will be joined in Náměšť by members of the band Květy: bassist Martin Kyšperský, keyboardist Jiří Habarta, guitarist Ondřej Kyas, drummer Martin Novák, wind instrumentalist Bharata Rajnošek, and Brno-based singer-songwriter Prune.
